User Testing
Usability Audit for Visually Impaired or Blind Users
People who are visually impaired and blind represent a significant percentage of individuals with physical handicaps. Because of their visual disorders, these individuals cannot use the Internet without specially adapted equipment.
A website may be accessible according to WAI norms and standards, but it may still be difficult to understand when decoded by a speech synthesis application. These types of problems may arise if the on-screen layout of elements does not translate into a logical linear sequence for the speech synthesis software.
Deliverables: Test report that includes recommendations and solution paths for improving the interface. Video capture of test sessions.
